A person who was questioned by the police in connection with a theft at the Rythu Vedika Centre in Suryapet district attempted suicide in front of a police station on Friday. He was admitted to the hospital and said to be out of danger. According to reports, Udari Gopi, 22 attempted suicide in front of the Huzurnagar police station. Gopi consumed poison alleging police harassment in connection with a theft case. The police admitted him to the hospital and facilitated treatment. The victim claimed that the police were harassing him with repeated questioning in connection with the theft at the Rythu Vedika. Despite his pleas that he had nothing to do with the robbery, they were consistently after him causing trauma. The police investigation is on.
