Noida: A man from Gurugram allegedly died by suicide on Saturday after jumping from the balcony of a flat on the 43rd floor of a high-rise in Noida, police said.
The deceased was identified as Sambhav Jain, who had booked an Airbnb setup at the Supernova Spyra society in Sector 94 for a day, police said.
According to police, Jain allegedly jumped from the balcony of the room, resulting in his death. A forensic team collected evidence from the spot, they said.
A preliminary inquiry suggested that Jain was under mental stress, officials said.
Police are examining CCTV footage from cameras installed in the building and nearby areas and questioning people who were present in the vicinity at the time of the incident.
The body was sent for an autopsy after Jain’s family members were informed, police said.
