Man and woman jump into Kakatiya canal, rescued in Karimnagar
The woman, who was washed away for about a hundred metres, was unconscious by the time she was rescued. Both of them were shifted to the district headquarters hospital.

Karimnagar: A man and woman allegedly attempted to die by suicide by jumping into the Kakatiya canal near Alugunur on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Monday.
Passersby, however, jumped into the canal and rescued them. The woman, who was washed away for about a hundred metres, was unconscious by the time she was rescued. Both of them were shifted to the district headquarters hospital.
Their identity is yet to be established. LMD Sub-Inspector Vivek visited the spot and began investigation.
