Medak: A conspiracy to kill a neighbour landed a man in trouble after his own relative was electrocuted on touching a GI wire connected to an electric supply placed around his house at the Narsingi mandal headquarters. Though the incident occurred on March 8, the police arrested the accused on Saturday after inquiring into the death.
According to the Narsingi police, Danda Shyamsunder Reddy (45), a resident of Medchal, had come to his relative Tammareddy Bhupal Reddy’s residence on March 8 along with his family members.
He was electrocuted while drying clothes on a GI wire placed around the house. After the incident, Bhupal Reddy’s neighbour Sudhakar Reddy told the police that Bhupal had placed the wire connected to an electric supply to eliminate him, as both of them had a long-standing dispute.
Following a complaint from Shyamsunder Reddy’s wife, the police registered a case and arrested Bhupal Reddy on Saturday.
