Hyderabad: A husband who had conspired to kill his wife was caught along with two other persons by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force team on Tuesday. The police seized a country-made pistol and six live rounds from him.
Those caught have been identified as Dhamara Arun Kumar (48), a businessman from Malkajgiri, Mohammed Abbu (26), a pan shop owner and resident of Yapral, and Mir Muzammil Ali Khan (23), a student who is a resident of Yakutpura.
According to Ande Srinivas, Additional DCP Task Force, the prime suspect, Arun Kumar, suspected that his second wife was having an intimate relationship with someone and wanted to kill her.
“As part of his plan, he procured a country-made weapon from one Tabish and Salamat of Bihar with the help of Abbu and Muzammil. For a few days, Arun Kumar practiced firing the weapon at his farm in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri and came to the city to execute the murder. While Arun, Abbu and Muzammil were waiting at Amberpet to execute the murder, the police, on information, caught them,” said Ande Srinivas.
The weapon was seized, and efforts are on to nab Tabish and Salamat, who are absconding.
