Man arrested for cheating woman, sexual harassment in Hyderabad
The Narayanaguda police arrested a man for allegedly posing as a real estate broker, cheating a woman on the pretext of selling her flat and sexually harassing her. The accused reportedly used money obtained by mortgaging her jewellery for personal expenses.
Hyderabad: The Narayanaguda police have arrested a man who allegedly posed as a real estate broker, cheated a woman on the pretext of selling her a flat, and sexually harassed her.
According to the police, the suspect, Mohan Reddy, a native of Khammam district, gained the woman’s trust by claiming he could help sell her flat.
During this period, he allegedly persuaded her to mortgage her jewellery and used the money for his personal expenses. The woman also accused him of sexually exploiting her.
Based on the victim’s complaint, a case was registered against him and he was arrested.
