Man arrested for LPG fraud in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Habeebnagar police on Friday arrested one person on charges of illegally transferring LPG from domestic cylinders to smaller cylinders and selling them at Mallepally crossroads.

Police said Mohd Abdul Nabi (45), the owner of Al-Makka Enterprises in Mallepally crossroads, was transferring gas from domestic cylinders into smaller cylinders of 3.4 kg each for quite some days. He illegally sold them to customers at higher rates.


Police seized one LPG cylinder and four small cylinders from him.
