Man arrested in mobile phone snatching case in Kulsumpura
Kulsumpura police arrested a 23-year-old man for his alleged involvement in a mobile phone snatching case reported last year. The accused had been evading arrest since December 2025. Three others are in jail, while one suspect remains absconding.
Hyderabad: The Kulsumpura police arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with a mobile phone snatching case reported last year and recovered cash from him on Thursday.
The arrested suspect, identified as Syed Faqru alias Arbaz from Talabkatta, who works at a tyre shop in Bahadurpura, had been evading arrest since December 2025.
Police said he was involved in a case registered at Kulsumpura police. Arbaz and his associates allegedly targeted a youth in Jiyaguda and snatched his mobile phone and fled. The stolen phone was later sold.
While three other persons linked to the case are already in jail, another suspect is still absconding.
