Hyderabad: A man was critically injured after he was allegedly attacked by unidentified persons in his house at Abdullapurmet on the city outskirts on Wednesday. Past enmity is suspected to have led to the attack, police said.
The victim, G Narasimha (36), a plumber from Jahanum Colony, was staying separately from his wife and children. Police said that, on Tuesday night, Narasimha called his relatives and friends saying he was scared and that some unidentified persons were coming home to kill him.
They reached his house and found the door locked from outside. When they forcibly opened the door, Narasimha was found lying in a pool of blood. He was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital and is being treated. His condition is said to be stable.
The Abdullapurmet police booked a case and took up the investigation.
