Man attacked with razor over love issue at Hyderabad’s Kukatpally
A man was injured in a razor attack at Moosapet, Kukatpally, on Sunday, allegedly over a dispute involving the attacker’s ex-girlfriend. Police said the suspect fled after injuring the victim’s neck. A case has been registered, and a search is on.
Hyderabad: A man was injured in a razor attack allegedly over an issue involving the attacker’s ex-girlfriend at Moosapet in Kukatpally on Sunday.
Police said Bhaskar alias Bose (22), a resident of Janatha Nagar, Moosapet, had been in a relationship with a young woman from the same locality, but the affair ended due to differences.
The woman, who regularly visited a local temple, later became acquainted with Batwal Bardhan alias Rahul (30), also from Moosapet.
Recently, Bhaskar reportedly confronted Bardhan about the woman and was warned not to follow her.
On Sunday, when Bardhan exited the temple, Bhaskar allegedly attacked him with a razor, injuring his neck and fled from the spot.
The Kukatpally police have registered a case and are searching for the suspect
