Man attacks wife suspecting infidelity in Hyderabad
According to the police, Venkatesh, who suspected Sunitha’s fidelity, often picked up arguments with her and harassed her both mentally and physically
Hyderabad: A woman suffered grievous injuries after her husband, who suspecting her fidelity, attacked her in their house at Chaitanyapuri on Friday.
The couple was identified as K Venkatesh and Sunitha, residents of Road No 3, RK Puram in Chaitanyapuri.
According to the police, Venkatesh, who suspected Sunitha’s fidelity, often picked up arguments with her and harassed her both mentally and physically. After an argument today, Venkatesh pushed Sunitha’s head against the wall and she suffered injuries and lost consciousness.
Assuming Sunitha had died, Venkatesh walked straight to the police station and confessed about the incident and surrendered to the police officials.
The LB Nagar police and Chaitanyapuri police reached the spot and found Sunitha to be alive with serious injuries and breathing and shifted her to the Omni Hospital for treatment.
A case for attempt to murder was booked and Venkatesh was taken into custody.
