Man beaten to death in Veldurthi village in Medak

Man murdered in Bandameedhi pally, possibly due to an extra marital affair. Body was found on Thursday morning by villagers

Medak: Unidentified miscreants allegedly killed a man at Bandameedhi Pally in Veldurthi mandal late on Wednesday night, when the villagers were in deep sleep. The victim was identified as Balesh, 37, a resident of the same village.

According to the police, the assailants beat him to death. His family members found him lying in a pool of blood and alerted the police. A case was registered, and the police suspect that an extra-marital affair could have been the motive behind the murder.


The incident created tension in the village. Police said an investigation was under way. The body was shifted to the government hospital in Ramayampet for postmortem examination.
