Man beaten to death with rods, sticks over trivial issue in Hyderabad’s KPHB
A 57-year-old man was beaten to death with sticks and iron rods after trying to pacify a fight between municipal workers at KPHB, Hyderabad. Police have arrested three of the accused and launched a manhunt for the remaining suspects

Hyderabad: In a gruesome murder, a group of men brutally attacked a man with sticks and iron rods, leading to his death over a trivial matter in KPHB on Friday night.
The victim, identified as Nettikal (57), was living with his two sons, Hanumanthu and Tirumala Naidu, both employed as municipal workers, in a makeshift hut behind Nexus Mall at Dharmareddy Colony Phase-1, KPHB.
On Friday night, another municipal worker named Raju, who also lives in KPHB, arrived at their residence with six others. The group allegedly called the brothers out of the house and attacked them with sticks and iron rods.
During the assault, Nettikal, who intervened in the fight and tried to pacify, suffered grievous injuries on his head and other parts of his body and died on the spot.
The KPHB Police have registered a case of murder and started investigating. Three accused persons have been taken into custody, while the remaining suspects are absconding. Efforts are on to nab them.
