Man beheads wife, walks with head to police station in Rajendranagar

Around midnight on Thursday, Parvez picked up an argument over the same issue and killed her by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon.

Hyderabad: A man beheaded his wife and then walked with her head to the police station to surrender at MM Pahadi in Rajendranagar here on Friday. 

The man, Parvez, was married to 


Samreen for 14 years and they had three children.

Police said Parvez suspected Samreen’s fidelity and often picked up fights with her. Following disputes between the couple, they had got divorced. However, a year ago,  Parvez requested Samreen to return to him and the couple were staying together again.

Around midnight on Thursday, Parvez picked up an argument over the same issue and killed her by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon.

After confirming her death, he beheaded her and walked to the Rajendranagar police station with her head and surrendered, police said.

The Rajendranagar police, who took him into custody, inspected the spot, booked a case and took up investigation.
