Man bludgeoned to death by relatives in Medak

A 46-year-old man, Uppari Yadagiri, was brutally murdered by his relatives at Shalipet village in Medak district on Monday morning. Police said the accused attacked him with boulders over an old grudge. A manhunt is on to nab them

Medak: A man was brutally murdered, allegedly by his relatives, who smashed his head with a boulder at Shalipet village in Chinna Shankarampet mandal on Monday morning. The deceased was identified as Uppari Yadagiri (46).

According to Toopran DSP Narendar Goud, Yadagiri was a habitual offender with several criminal cases registered against him in the past. Holding a grudge against him, his relatives Uppari Ramulu, Shamulu and Yellam allegedly attacked him with boulders, killing him on the spot.


The police shifted the body to the government hospital for postmortem. A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
