Hyderabad: A woman was killed, allegedly by her husband, following a quarrel over a family issue at Adibatla on Monday night.

The victim, Bhana Maji (22), and her husband Vishwa Pradhan (28), both natives of Odisha, lived at Ragannaguda and on Monday night, had an argument in an inebriated condition.

“Around midnight, Vishwa Pradhan woke up and brought a big stone from outside and dropped it in his wife’s head, resulting in her death,” Adibatla Inspector P Narender said.

The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary while further investigation is on.
