Hyderabad: A 27-year-old man was charred to death when fire broke out at his house in Jagathgirigutta in the city on Friday night.

Sai Kumar (27), stayed at a room in Ringa Basthi in Jagathgirigutta. On Friday night, fire broke out in the room where Sai Kumar was asleep. The local who noticed smoke emanating from the house informed the fire department. However, before the fire tender reached the spot the fire spread in the house rapidly.


“It is not clear how the fire broke out in the house. Sai Kumar was found dead in the house with severe burns. A case is registered,” said Jagathgirigutta Inspector, K Narasimha.

The police are investigating.
