Man climbs electric pole after pushcart is stolen in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A pushcart vendor, whose cart was allegedly stolen, climbed a high tension electric pole at Amberpet here on Saturday.

The man identified as Mohan Babu climbed the pole in the afternoon alleging someone had stolen his cart, and demanded that it be returned or he would end his life. The local residents who noticed him, informed the Amberpet police who reached the spot immediately.

After about an hour of requests from the police personnel who assured to buy him a new pushcart, Mohan Babu got down from the electric police. The residents and officials sighed relief only then.
