Man commits suicide hours after his daughter ended life

A 50-year-old man in Siddipet reportedly died by suicide hours after his 16-year-old daughter died by suicide at her maternal grandparents’ home in Ananthagiripally. Police said the father was found hanging at Yavapur on Wednesday evening

Siddipet: In a tragic incident, a man ended life hours after his daughter reportedly died by suicide at Gandi Malakpet in Medchal Malkajgiri district. According to police, the man Kotha Ramulu (50) of Yavapur, hanged himself on Wednesday evening after coming to that his teenage daughter Jyothi (16) also ended life on Wednesday at her maternal grandparents home at Ananthagiripally village.

After Ramulu’s first wife died of sickness, he married his wife’s younger sister.

The couple had a 16-year-old daughter.

The mother and daughter left Ramulu to Ananthagiripally a couple of years ago.

Ramulu’s wife also reportedly turned mentally unsound while he moved to Gandi Malakpet. Depressed over all these developments, the teenage girl reportedly took the extreme step on Wednesday. The incident left the family in a shock.
