BTech student dies after jumping from Secunderabad East Metro Station

Hyderabad: Panic gripped commuters at the Secunderabad East Metro Station on Friday evening after a B.Tech student allegedly died by suicide by jumping from the station.
The victim was identified as Nitya Teja, who reportedly jumped from the second floor of the metro station, according to eyewitnesses.
He suffered severe bleeding injuries on the head and other parts of the body in the fall.
Commuters who noticed him rushed to his rescue and the injured student was immediately rushed in an ambulance to Gandhi Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
On receiving information, the Gopalapuram Police Station police reached the spot and took up the investigation.
They are probing to ascertain the circumstances that led to the incident.
