Man dies by suicide in Madhapur after wife files case
A 28-year-old man from Rajendranagar died by suicide in a Madhapur hotel on Sunday after his wife filed a murder attempt case against him following frequent quarrels at home

Hyderabad: A man died by suicide on Sunday at Madhapur after his wife filed a case against him for attacking her.
According to the police, Erpula Kristappa alias Christopher (28), a resident of Rajendranagar, was married to Ganji Sumalatha a few years ago. For some months, the couple quarreled over small issues. On Thursday, Christopher and Sumalatha quarreled in the house over a small issue, following which the woman approached the Rajendranagar police, who, based on her complaint, filed a case of murder attempt against Christopher.
The man fled and came to a hotel at Madhapur and took a room on rent. On Sunday, he hanged himself from the ceiling with the help of a bedsheet. The Madhapur police, on being alerted by the hotel management, shifted the body to the mortuary and registered a case.
