Man drowns while fishing in Manjeera river in Medak
A 40-year-old man drowned after venturing into the Manjeera river for fishing at Konapur in Medak district on Monday. His family found his belongings on the riverbank the next morning and traced his body after hours of searching
Medak: Fishing proved fatal for a 40-year-old man who ventured into the Manjeera river at Konapur in Kulcharam mandal.
The deceased, Chakali Bikshapathi of Konapur, ventured into the river for fishing on Monday. When he went missing, his family members searched for him and found his slippers and other belongings on the riverbank near the village on Tuesday morning.
After hours of searching, they traced his body. Police registered a case and sent the body to the Government Hospital in Medak for postmortem.
