Man duped of Rs.11 lakh in cyber fraud in Keesara, lodges complaint

According to the complainant, some scammers in the name of Lyca Coin deceived innocent people by promising profits upto Rs. 30,000 if they invested Rs 10,000 in online crypto currency investments.

Hyderabad: A man approached the police alleging he was duped to the tune of Rs 11 lakh by cyber fraudsters who promised him huge returns for investments in crypto currencies (bitcoin) in Keesara.

According to the complainant, some scammers in the name of Lyca Coin deceived innocent people by promising profits upto Rs. 30,000 if they invested Rs 10,000 in online crypto currency investments.


The suspects had collected huge deposits in the name of online investments and went absconding.

Based on the complaint from several victims, the Keesara police are investigating.
