Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified man was found in a secluded place at Jawaharnagar on the city outskirts in the wee hours of Monday.

According to the police, the person, aged around 40 years, is suspected to have been killed during a drunken brawl as he was stabbed with sharp objects. Passers-by noticed the body and informed the Jawaharnagar police who shifted the body to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy.

Senior police officials, who visited the spot, said it was suspected that the person had come to the spot along with a few other people to consume liquor. He might have been killed following an argument, they said.

Jawaharnagar Inspector P Bikshapathi Rao said two special teams were formed to identify the victim and to nab the killers.
