Man found dead under suspicious circumstances at Hyderabad ATM
An unidentified man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at an ATM centre in Hyderabad’s Vijayanagar Colony. Police shifted the body for postmortem and suspect a stroke, but are awaiting the report to confirm the exact cause of death
Hyderabad: A man died under suspicious circumstances at an ATM centre at Vijayanagar Colony in the city on Thursday morning.
According to the police, the man, who is yet to be identified, was found in a sitting position holding the door of the ATM by some persons who alerted the police.
The Mehdipatnam police, who reached the spot, checked and found that the man did not carry an ATM card or any cash with him.
The police, after preliminary inquiries, shifted the body to Osmania Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination. A case has been registered. The police suspect the man might have died due to a stroke; however, they are awaiting the postmortem examination report to know the exact cause of death.
