Hyderabad: The naked body of a man was found with multiple stab wounds at a secluded spot in Chandrayangutta here on Tuesday morning.
Police said the victim, identified as Asif, a resident of Karwan, was found dead by those passing by and informed the police. According to the police, it was suspected that the victim could have had a fight with the assailants who attacked him with sharp weapons. His body was found in a secluded place near the Pride India layout beside Aurora College.
“He had been stabbed multiple times at various parts on his body. He is suspected to have died on the spot,” police said, adding that it was yet to be ascertained if he was murdered elsewhere and the body dumped where it was found.
The Chandrayangutta police have booked a case and shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy. Officials are examining CCTV footage collected from routes leading to the crime spot to identify the killers.
