Man from Bihar killed on the spot, another injured as lorry hits trolley van in Mancherial
In Mancherial’s Hajipur mandal, a lorry collided with a milk-carrying trolley van early Tuesday, killing 26-year-old Devaji Kumar from Bihar and injuring Narendra Kumar Yadav from Uttar Pradesh. Police registered a case and began investigating the accident
Mancherial: A man from Bihar was killed on the spot, while another sustained serious injuries, when a lorry rammed into a trolley van carrying milk cans in Hajipur mandal early on Tuesday morning.
Hajipur Sub Inspector Kiran Kumar said Devaji Kumar (26), a native of Dowlathapur in Bihar, suffered fatal injuries when the lorry hit the trolley van at a curve, resulting in his death on the spot and injuries to Narendra Kumar Yadav of Uttar Pradesh. Narendra Kumar Yadav was immediately shifted to a hospital in Mancherial.
A case has been registered against the lorry driver and investigations have been taken up.
