Man gets 20 years’ rigorous imprisonment for assaulting minor in 2018

A special court has sentenced Mohd. Yaseen to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting a minor girl in Bolarum in 2018. The court also imposed a fine and ordered compensation for the victim.

Hyderabad: A special court in the city has sentenced one Mohd Yaseen to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting a minor girl in Bolarum in 2018.

Following a detailed investigation, Bolarum Police filed a strong charge sheet supported by scientific, medical, and documentary evidence.

After completion of the trial, the special court convicted the accused, imposed a fine of Rs 11,000, and directed payment of Rs 2 lakh as compensation to the victim.
