Adilabad: A court in Adilabad has sentenced a man to three years’ imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹7,000 for attempting to murder a person in Hasnapur village of Thalamadugu mandal two years ago.
District Principal Judge K. Prabhakar Rao delivered the verdict against Makkala Dinesh after finding him guilty of assaulting Sangam Swamy during a Ganesh idol immersion procession on September 17, 2024. The incident occurred after the victim asked the accused to reduce the volume of a music system.
The court examined material evidence and cross-examined 15 eyewitnesses before delivering the judgment.
