Man gets life term for murdering wife in Moinabad
A Ranga Reddy district court sentenced Mohammad Hussain to life imprisonment for murdering his wife in Moinabad in 2023. Hussain, who was intoxicated, killed her after she refused to give him money for liquor. He was arrested the next day and charge-sheeted.
Hyderabad: A local court in Ranga Reddy district has sentenced Mohammad Hussain (60), to life imprisonment in the murder case of his wife reported in Moinabad in 2023. He was also fined Rs 500.
The incident occurred on February 20, 2023, when, Mohammad Hussain, approached his wife, Hussain Bee, in an intoxicated state and demanded Rs 80 for liquor. When she said she had no money, he verbally abused her, assaulted her with a stick, and later dragged her into their hut.
He then brought out a mortar stone and struck her on the chest and face, causing fatal injuries. The victim died on the spot.
The Moinabad Police registered the case and arrested him the following day. After gathering evidence and completing the investigation, the charge sheet was filed before the court.
