Hyderabad: A minor girl was allegedly lured in the name of love and kidnapped by a man in Banjara Hills. The girl escaped and explained her ordeal to her parents, who approached the police and lodged a complaint.
According to the police, the suspect Shiva became friends with the victim, who belonged to the same neighbourhood and since then they were talking over phone and texting each other. He proposed to her and she accepted, after which he took her to a nearby park and tied a knot. When he tried to sexually assault her, she escaped and reached her parents.
Based on a complaint, the police booked a case and are investigating.
