Mancherial: Sleuths of Ramagundam commissionerate’s Task Force arrested a person for brewing illicit liquor locally known as gudumba at Peddabudha in Bellampalli mandal on Wednesday. As many as 50 litres of wash was destroyed.
Task Force Inspector Mahender said that the accused was Tuganda Salender, a resident of Peddabudha village. Narender was found to be manufacturing the illicitly distilled liquor in his residence, following a tip. On being interrogated, Salender confessed to committing crime to make a fast buck for quite a long time.
Mahender warned that a vigil was kept on illegal activities and none would be spared if found indulging in a crime. Task Force Sub-Inspector Lachanna, staffers Srinivas and Shyamsudner took part in the operation.
