Man held for stealing cash from woman in Mancherial
Kambampati Esobu alias Suresh Reddy from Nirmal was apprehended for snatching Rs 10,000 cash from women at ATM kiosk in Jannaram.
Mancherial: A man from Nirmal district was arrested on the charges of stealing Rs 10,000 from an elderly woman in Jannaram, on Thursday.
Mancherial ACP R Prakash said that Kambampati Esobu alias Suresh Reddy from Nirmal was apprehended for snatching cash from the woman Bhumakka by diverting her attention on September 24 after she withdrew cash from an ATM kiosk in Jannaram. He had offered her water in order to divert her attention and snatched the cash from her.
Prakash commended Jannaram Sub-Inspector Gundeti Rajyavardhan, head constable Tukaram and constable K Bhaskar for nabbing the accused person within 48 hours after the crime.
