Adilabad: A man was arrested in Adilabad on Thursday for allegedly circulating communally sensitive content on social media and disturbing public peace in the region.
Police said Bandari Santosh was apprehended for making a video related to a church and sharing it on WhatsApp. They warned that strict action would be taken against individuals forwarding communally sensitive videos, messages or information that disrupt social harmony.
Police also advised WhatsApp group administrators to remain vigilant about such content and individuals. The police reiterated that the department was committed to maintaining law and order in society.
