Man held with 200 grams of hashish oil in Hyderabad
The Hyderabad police arrested a man in Borabanda for possessing 200 grams of hashish oil. The accused, from Ranga Reddy district, had allegedly sourced the narcotic from Araku Valley and was planning to sell it in the city

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police arrested a man for allegedly possessing and attempting to sell hashish oil, seizing 200 grams of the narcotic substance from him.
Acting on a tip-off, the Commissioner’s Task Force (West Zone) apprehended Pottabathini Uma Shankar, 26, a resident of Pochampally in Ranga Reddy district, at Borabanda. He was found in possession of the hashish oil during the operation.
“On questioning, Uma Shankar confessed that he had procured the hashish oil from an unidentified person in Araku Valley. He was planning to sell it to customers in the city when our team intercepted him,” said Y V Sudheendra, DCP, Task Force.
The accused and the seized contraband have been handed over to the local police for further investigation.
