Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (Central) on Tuesday caught one person with a sword to threaten people.

The man Gonela Raju (26), a car driver from Jyothinagar in Domalguda purchased the sword for Rs 2,500 from a contact and allegedly had intentions to use it to threaten people and extort money.

“While he was moving around with the sword, a police team caught him on Monday night,” DCP (Task Force) P Radha Kishan Rao said, adding that he was handed over to the Chikkadpally police for further action.
