Man, his two children feared drowned in Nizam Sagar
A 32-year-old man and his two young children are feared drowned in the Nizam Sagar reservoir in Sangareddy district after failing to return home from an outing. Police launched a search operation after family members found their belongings near the waterbody

Sangareddy: A man and his two children were feared drowned in Nizam Sagar project on Thursday. The trio left their home in Nizampet mandal headquarters to Nizam Sagar project on a two-wheeler. However, they failed to return home even by evening.
They were G Krishna (32), his son Rakshith (9) and daughter Ananya (6). Krishna had settled down in Patancheru a few years ago. However, he came to Nizampet to spend the summer holidays with his parents.a
Krishna took his children on a ride to Nizam Sagar on Thursday morning. He had lunch with his kids under the shade of a tree and clicked pictures with him. Later, he also took selfies with his kids while they were playing along the shores of the reservoir.
He even sent the pictures to his wife and other family members. As he failed to return home even after evening, the family members reached the place and searched along the shores of the project and found the chappal, bike and other things close to the project.
The family members immediately called the police who launched a search for them in the water body.
