Man immolates himself in house in Hyderabad

Police said the victim identified as Raju (45), from Venkat Reddy Nagar was depressed and doused his body with petrol and set himself ablaze in the bathroom.

Hyderabad: A man died, allegedly by suicide, after setting himself on fire in his house at Ramanthapur here on Monday.

Police said the victim identified as Raju (45), from Venkat Reddy Nagar was depressed and doused his body with petrol and set himself ablaze in the bathroom. He died on the spot, police said.

The Uppal police are investigating. The reason for the suicide is yet to be known. The body was shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
