Medak: A man, who was allegedly beaten up by a constable on the premises of the Alladurg police station, died after he set himself on fire at Rampur village.

According to his family members, Talari Kishan had gone to the Alladurg police station on Tuesday night to file a complaint after he lost his mobile phone. However, constable Sailu allegedly beat him up, refusing to register any case. Feeling humiliated, Kishan doused himself with petrol and set himself on fire at the SC Community Hall on Wednesday. He died while being shifted to hospital.
