Man kidnapped and assaulted in Vikarabad over minor issue
A man from Rajivnagar in Vikarabad was taken to a secluded place and assaulted with sticks and belts after a minor argument with his neighbour. He fell unconscious and was shifted to hospital. Police registered a case and began investigation.
Hyderabad: A man was severely assaulted by a group of persons at Rajivnagar in Vikarabad mandal and town on Friday.
The victim Shaik Mohammed, a resident of Rajivnagar in Vikarabad, had an argument with his neighbour Ramaswamy over a small issue during the day. After the argument, a group of people came to the house of Mohammed and on the pretext of discussing the issue took him on a bike to a secluded place.
The group then attacked Mohammed with sticks and belts following which he fell unconscious. The attackers escaped from the place.
Some persons who noticed the attack informed the police, who reached the spot and shifted the man to hospital for treatment. Following a complaint, the police registered a case and are investigating.
