Man killed as auto hits bicycle in Telangana’s Mancherial

Goli Rajanna from Mandapalli sustained serious head injuries, resulting in instantaneous death; hit-and-run case registered

Mancherial: A bicycle rider was killed on the spot when an auto-rickshaw hit him at Ponkal village on Friday night.

Police said that Goli Rajanna (55) from Mandapalli sustained serious head injuries, resulting in instantaneous death for him when the auto-rickshaw hit his cycle at a curve near the village at around 9 pm.

He was on his way to Mandapalli from Jannaram at the time of the mishap. Based on a complaint received from his family member, a hit-and-run case was registered against the driver of the three-wheeler. Investigation is on.
