Man killed as RTC bus mows down bike in Medak
The victim Seethala Venkatesh (40) and his wife were proceeding towards Toopran on the Narsapur-Toopran road to see his ailing relatives in a hospital when the accident occurred
Medak: A man died in a road accident while his wife had a lucky escape when an TGSRTC bus hit their two-wheeler at Donthi in Shivvampet mandal on Tuesday.
According to the police, Seethala Venkatesh (40), a resident of Nallavalli in Gummadidala mandal of Sangareddy district, and his wife were proceeding towards Toopran on the Narsapur-Toopran road to see his ailing relatives in a hospital. However, a reckless RTC driver hit their bike and ran over Venkatesh. Sumalatha escaped with minor injuries. The police registered a case. The body was taken to the government hospital in Narsapur for postmortem.
