Hyderabad: A man was killed by his brother reportedly following an argument over sharing of expenditure incurred during the marriage of their sister held recently. The incident happened at Shamshabad on city outskirts on Saturday evening.
According to the police, the brothers Yadagiri and Srinivas have been living in Wanaparthy district for last several years. Recently, the marriage of their sister was held and both the brothers spent money to meet the marriage related expenses.
On Saturday, Yadagiri and Srinivas along with three others had come to Gandiguda in Shamshabad on some work where during a conversation they started discussing about the marriage related expenses.
“An argument ensued between them during the conversation and Srinivas in a fit of rage took a knife and attacked Yadagiri resulting in serious injuries. He was shifted to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” said Shamshabad Inspector, Y Prakash Reddy.
A case is registered by the police and Srinivas and others were taken into custody by the police.
