Man killed in road crash in Ranga Reddy

According to the police, P. Ganesh (30), a resident of Chilkur, was going on his motorcycle to Osman Sagar to catch fishes in the morning.

Hyderabad: A fisherman on his way to catch fishes died after his bike was hit by a tractor at Chilkur village in Moinabad mandal of Ranga Reddy district here on Friday morning.

According to the police, P. Ganesh (30), a resident of Chilkur, was going on his motorcycle to Osman Sagar to catch fishes in the morning, when he reached Chilkur cross-road, a tractor which was coming from the opposite side hit his bike.

“He lost control of the vehicle and fell on the road. Passers-by who noticed the accident rushed him to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him dead,” police said. The tractor driver fled from the spot.

On receiving information, Moinabad police have booked a case of negligence causing death and taken up investigation. Efforts were on to identify and nab the absconding tractor driver, police said.
