Man kills father over family disputes in Telangana’s Rajanna-Sircilla

Rajanna-Sircilla: In a tragic incident at Devuni Thanda in Chandurthi mandal, a man allegedly killed his father by ramming a car into him on Monday.

The accused, Rajesh, is believed to have been upset over ongoing domestic violence issues involving his father, Guguloth Thirupathi (40), who reportedly used to assault his wife under the influence of alcohol.

According to local residents, tensions within the family had been escalating. In a fit of anger, Rajesh allegedly drove a car into his father. Thirupathi sustained serious injuries and succumbed to them while being transported to the area hospital in Vemulawada.

Police visited the village and registered a case. An investigation is under way.
