Warangal: A man allegedly axed his son to death at his residence in Kothagattu Singaram village in Shayampet mandal in Hanamkonda district on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Reguri Ravinder Reddy (34). It is said that there was a long-pending dispute over the property between father and son. “After heated arguments on the day of Dasara, Papi Reddy (55) axed his son Ravinder Reddy to death around 10 pm on Friday,” police officials said, adding that they had taken the accused into custody and registered a case under section 302 IPC. The body was shifted to postmortem to the Government Hospital in Parkal. The wife of Ravinder had lodged a complaint against her father-in-law.
