Man loses 9 tolas gold bought for daughter’s wedding; Toopran police trace within hour

Medak: Toopran police traced down the nine tolas of gold ornaments lost by a man within an hour. According to Toopran police Talari Narsimhulu, who hung his bag containing gold ornaments to the bike handle, lost it at Brahmanapally railway gate in Toopran mandal on Friday.
He immediately called the police through dial 100. The police, who examined the CCTV footage, found that a man Nagaraju and his friend Krishna picked up the bag. When they traced, Nagaraju handed it over to the police.
Appreciating their honesty, DSP Narendar Goud, Inspector Rangakrishna and SI Gangaraju felicitated them. They have also handed over the gold ornaments to Narasimhulu.
Narasimhulu, a resident of Allapur, bought the ornaments after spending over Rs 13 lakhs to present them to his daughter on the occasion of her marriage. However, the incident left the family in shock for a while. They thanked the police for their effort and Nagaraju and Krishna for their honesty.
