Hyderabad: A 40 year old man was murdered by a group of persons at Sabzi Mandi in Kulsumpura in the early hours of Tuesday.
Abdul Khadeer (40) a resident of Farooqnagar in Falaknuma was into real estate business and a history sheet is maintained against him at Falaknuma police station.
“On Tuesday morning, the suspect Akbar along with his associates attacked Khadeer with axes and knives resulting in his death. Akbar suspected that Abdul Khadeer played a role in the murder of Imran reported at Falaknuma a year and half ago,” said the Kulsumpura police.
As part of the plan Akbar through a auto-rickshaw driver Qadir reportedly called Abdul Khadeer to a house at Sabzi Mandi on the pretext of liquor party. “Around 4 am, Akbar along with four others attacked and killed Abdul Khadeer,” the police added. The suspects later left the place and reportedly surrendered before the police.
The police reached the spot and shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary where a post-mortem examination was conducted. The body was later handed over to the family members.
A case under Section 302 r/w 34 of IPC is registered and investigation taken up.
