Man murdered at Miyapur rehabilitation centre

Sandeep, a rehabilitation centre resident in Miyapur, was murdered following an altercation with two other inmates, Adil and Suleiman. Police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances of the fatal attack.

Hyderabad: A man was murdered at a rehabilitation centre at Miyapur on Wednesday night.

The victim, Sandeep a native of Andhra Pradesh, was joined at the rehabilitation centre by his family nine months ago after he got addicted to drug abuse.

Two other people Adil of Nalgonda district and Suleiman of Barkas in Hyderabad also joined the rehabilitation centre three months ago.

“On Wednesday, Adil and Suleiman, quarreled with Sandeep alleging that the latter was disturbing them. In a fit of rage, the duo attacked Sandeep resulting in his death,” said Miyapur police.

A case is registered.
