Hyderabad: A 58 year-old-man was stabbed to death with a piece of glass at an old age home in Rajendranagar on Wednesday night.
According to the police, Sadiq Hussain (55) of Mir Alam Mandi was staying at an old age home at P&T colony under the Rajendranagar police station limits for the last few months. On Wednesday night, there was a quarrel between Hussain and another inmate Shaik Ayaaz. The latter allegedly broke a window, took a glass piece and stabbed Hussain with it, Rajendranagar police said.
Hussain was shifted to a private hospital for treatment and later to Osmania General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A case was registered by the Rajendranagar police, who took Ayaaz into custody.
